McCDW is a Democratic women’s organization with its purpose being to encourage, empower and support women running for local and state offices.
McCDW seeks to overcome the unique obstacles women encounter as candidates particularly in raising funds, campaign management, and attracting grassroots support.
The McCDW officer election takes place September 23, 2026 at the Annual Meeting.

The Democratic Party of McHenry County has proudly announced a full slate of county board candidates, and among the county, Illinois representative and senate candidates, 13 are women. Check out our endorsements!
Their backgrounds in community service, technology, military service, and environmental stewardship represent the diversity of backgrounds and experiences of our big tent party.
Electing these candidates would bring balance, fiscal responsibility, and dedication to public service back to our county and government.
